It's quite sad that you say this. Cue further progress towards 'love' being hugely overused and watered down to the point of meaningless significance in modern society. 'Sigh' not something you have to say especially early in a relationship.. But yes dogs are awesome, loyal and loving at all times

They rely on you to feed them and make sure they survive, of course they are loyal. Dogs don't really love you unconditionally, though they can show affection, just like a lot of dogs do with any stranger even. they can bond with anyone who takes care of them, even a robot as proven by science :D

Or children! Dogs don't whine about the peas touching the potatoes, you can actually potty-train them faster… there's a whole book I found of reasons why dogs are better than children. And cats. And wives. And husbands…
