Today, I'm starting a new job. Only problem is, I haven't been told what my duties are, who my line manager is, or who to ask if I need help. FML

Go in. Ask what to do. If no one tells you anything sit in the break room(punch in first) and wait until its take to go home. If no one ever tells you anything then your getting paid for not doing anything. Win win

I would look at my offer letter more closely. It generally does mention things like what is expected of me and has a name with a number I can call and ask other questions. I would call there and ask for who do I report to... Best of luck with the new job.
