Today, I learned that my roommate, the one in charge of the cooking, never washes her hands beforehand. According to her, it boosts her immune system. FML

Well, according to her logic, your immune system is being boosted as well. I believe a thank you is in order, she's pumping up your system to defend against super-bugs!

Cause the bacteria defensively survives the stove or oven....

"the one in charge of the cooking"?? If you are old enough to have roomates you are old enough to cook for your own damn self!

I think she's got a point there lol but yeah it is gross

Ok while gross, if she's cooking the heat will destroy the bacteria. If you're eating salad prepared by her that isn't the case. Anyway, as previously stated start cooking your own food.

Why do you just have one person in charge of the cooking? Why don't you just cook your own food?

Have you ever gone to the bathroom turned on the tap with a potentially shitty hand, scrubbed them clean only to touch the same tap handle that you touched before washing? I wouldn't want to eat someone else's shit for nothing! PS I never touch taps or bathroom doors. Know a girl who went to Mexico with her kids. Missed 3 months of school and work! Dr said it was most likely for the reason I mentioned

Think it's time to start cooking your own meals

Well... It does... But it's one thing to your own food and it completely different to everyone else's. Then it is just gross
