Today, I gave a group presentation. Because I didn't know the last names of my group members, I'd put fake ones in, intending to replace them later. I forgot to change them and I ended up giving a presentation alongside a very angry Greg Penishead and Josh Acne. FML

Today, I had a big presentation at work and I was feeling really confident. I'd practiced it over and over and I knew it inside out. But when I got up to speak, I realized I had left my notes at home. I ended up winging it and it was a disaster. FML

Today, I had to give a presentation at school about King Richard III. I realized too late that someone had changed his name to "King Dick" on all the slides. My little sister later broke into hysterics and confessed this had been her April Fool's prank. FML

Today, while giving a brief presentation at work, I blanked out on what I was going to say. I tried to make a joke and tell them I'd had a brain fart, but all I managed to say was, "I farted." Well, at least they all laughed. FML

Today, I was to give a presentation to several of my company's senior employees. The moment I stood up, I accidentally let rip a monstrous fart that lasted a good two or three seconds. When I tried to utter an apology, I clammed up and let out a whiny grunt. They were not amused. FML

Okay, even if this was a temporary thing that you were going to change... If these people aren't ones you know well enough to know their last names, why do you think it would be okay to give them ridiculous last names? They may not be too happy about that if you're not close and it might have ended badly even if you did change it before the presentation, but they happened to see it before.

Why didn't you just contact them and ask their last names? If you were doing a group project with them, you should've had their contact info.

You could have just left their last names out until you knew them. The 'fake' ones such as acne sound pretty judgemental to me.

I did something similar but not near as bad when I was in high school... I learned that no matter how much you intend on changing something like that later, sometimes you mess up and skip something on accident. Or you run out of time. YDI OP, next time just leave it blank.

Wow, OP! I'm sure you're a funny and amazing person, but for this, YDI! Like another person said, you could have contacted the peeps in your group for their last names!! I'm always one to agree that lives suck, however, I can't defend you here! hahaha
