Today, I miscarried my baby. My teen sister, who has autism and can’t handle being around children, congratulated me on getting my freedom back, and also on miscarrying before I got fat like our mom. I can’t even yell at her because she wouldn’t understand why I’m upset. FML

Today, I was grocery shopping with my older sister. An elderly couple passed, and the man pointed to my sister, saying, "She LOVES to eat." My sister is 7 months pregnant, and I had to spend the next hour comforting her as she bawled her eyes out because of an off-hand comment from a stranger. FML

That's inappropriate to say the least. Even if you put it in the context that she uses dark humor a lot, that's still crossing a pretty obvious line. Sorry for your loss and that your sister being an a**hole about it.

An 7/8 year old knows whats inappropriate but in a child's innocent way of trying to do something to ease the situation yes they could have or if there was mental handicap. But I do agree that most children have enough common sense that this is never appropriate. BTW HOW THE **** DO SHE DESERVE IT??
