Today, a friend handed me something and jokingly said "Happy Birthday". The funny thing is, it really was my birthday, and he didn't know. He was the first and only person to say "Happy Birthday" to me, and he didn't even mean it. Looks like I'm the only one having cake tonight!FML

Today, I overheard a large group of my friends and acquaintances making spontaneous plans to go see a movie that afternoon. I was the only person not invited. Normally I would have believed their excuse that they thought I was "sick at home", except I was sitting a few feet away the entire time. FML

Today, I had a job interview. I have another job I want to leave, but haven't said anything yet. At the interview, I mentioned where I worked, and the interviewer name-dropped my manager. She then told me he was her step brother. So much for not wanting my manager to know. FML
