Today, I found a great recipe for dinner, and emailed it to myself with the subject "Dinner tonight". Hours later, I'd forgotten all about it, opened my emails, saw the subject line, and thought someone was asking me out to dinner. I got really excited until I saw the sender address. FML

Today, I was talking to a co-worker about birth control. Ten minutes later, I went to my sent e-mails to copy and reuse an old e-mail and realized I had sent "I tried calling you but your birth control is not working" to a student. It was supposed to say "voicemail". FML

Use GMail. It has an undo send feature. Its a life saver. :)

But... why would you enter her email address? Leave the field blank or enter your own or something... then if you accidently send it, who cares? Or better.. use MS Word or Notepad or something...

well you shouldnt have put her email address in, until you were ready to send it! i never put email addresses into drafts. the email addy is the very last thing I enter in an email..because I know how easy it is to accidentally send it

That's why I don't write that sort of stuff in emails, even if I have no intention of sending it. On the other hand, this "accident" might turn out good for you, depending on her reaction. Good luck!

It's not stalker behaviour, it's not like she was spying on her and stuff, it's called expressing herself! Even if it's just in a e-journal sort-of-thing.
