Today, my coworkers won't believe I'm from Alabama. Apparently, "You're too smart and not racist enough… plus you have all your teeth, and you're not dating your cousin." Fuck these people. FML

I was born in Mississippi (Alabama’s twin) and now live in Alabama. I am an electronic engineer and definitely not a MAGA-head. I have lived in many states in the USA. My observation is that there is a tremendous range of variability in people of all states ranging from the dumbest of the dumb and most prejudiced to some very smart people all over the USA. I wouldn’t even say that when it comes to an average for intelligence and decency that there is that much difference. Politics and religious expression are somewhat regional, but even that is not a huge difference in most places, usually just difference in degree. Let all the idiots just stay home who are prejudiced against specific states - It’s their loss.
