Today, a guy that I've been friends with for almost 20 years, and for whom I have never shown even the slightest bit of romantic interest in, confessed his love for me. In front of everyone we know, at mine and my fiancé's engagement party. FML

That sucks, man. See, for me, if you're crushin' on someone, don't keep that s**t bottled up. At least confess your feelings and, if they like you back (and are single), then cool. If not, accept it and move on. Don't hold on to it and let it go at the worst possible moment.

I wonder what the record is for having that happen. I bet at least half a dozen. I can just see the bride stating to tense up every time a different male friend starts approaching her after the 3rd or 4th time.
