Today, I woke up to find out that my practically feral cat had chewed through my laptop charger cable. I guess I won't be getting much work done today. FML

My suggestion is getting wire protectors for your chargers. My cat has destroyed my computer charger as well. Since I've gotten wire protectors, my charger has not been destroyed.

You know, you could strip back the wires and use wirenuts to reconnect the wires temporarily until you can replace or get the psu fixed.
