My body hates me

Today, I was dumped once again, all because I had to cancel a date due to a fibromyalgia flare up that confined me to bed for a few days. This happens with every guy I get close to. I think I need to come to terms with the fact that I shouldn’t even bother dating, and that I’ll be alone with my cats forever. FML

My spouse has MS, I have post-polio syndrome (like ME/CFS or long Covid). We found each other via fandom. Your person is out there. I know it’s hard, but it’s so worth not giving up!

I’ve had Fibro and ME for 8 years now. My ex husband left me saying he hadn’t signed up for a disabled wife?! I’ve been on my own since and I miss the company sometimes but at least I don’t have to deal with dicks like that again! Love your own company xx

That really just sounds like an excuse. As a rule people rarely tell the real reason. Fibromyalgia doesn't sound like a deal breaker.
