Today, my boyfriend has covered his windows in heavy-duty garbage bags, all the while complaining that his apartment has no view. In our old place, which did have a view, he always kept the blinds closed and never opened the windows more than 2 centimeters. FML

so he moved out to live alone ? sounds like he just felt suffocated which probably hurts to understand but it should be more than normal to live apart while dating and then join together only after marriage. sounds like like you should have a talk to see what direction he plans on taking things in though so you can cut your losses if necessary

That sounds like a mental health issue. If this is the full extent of the apparent paranoia or whatever this is, then that’s better than it could be… OP, there sometimes comes a time when you have to ask yourself “Is this the way I want to live?” If it’s bearable or fixable then that’s good. If not, you may have to take care of yourself.
