The way I read it I thought you found out the girl was your sister. Yeah thats rough, yeah either Sue for child, or divorce her on grounds of infidelity.

I guess, but it sounds like the guy still loves the daughter very much, and it is a shitty thing for the mother to do but still shouldn't make the daughter pay the consequences. Especially when the daughter finds out the truth, that's going to cause years of therapy.
