Freaked out

Today, after I'd got into a steady routine for months, the new manager waltzed into the store out of the blue and began changing every single rule. I had a panic attack and cried, for which she promptly fired me for “acting like a baby.” I’m autistic and I don’t do well with sudden changes. FML

That is discrimination. There is a law suit in that.

I'm sorry you've gone though this, depending on where you live there are laws protecting you from this sort of thing, I hope you fight this if your happy too as you deserve better than what they did to you 😊

You should have no problem finding a calcified organization that is insanely resistant to change. Many of us are frustrated at places that insist on doing things "the way they've always done it." Those would be paradise to you.

So before jumping to discrimination, did the new manager know your medical issue?

Seeing as they are the manager they should know who works under them. You also can’t fire some one for having a panic attack or crying. It’s bad management.
