Today, a customer at work pronounced the word "Asian" as "Ah-See-Awn" when ordering a salad. I wasn't allowed to say anything. FML

Well I don't know, at least if that was a foreign person I could see it happen? I don't know why anyone would pronounce things in a wrong way on purpose anyway

I've always just corrected people very subtly. like at the end of the order, "alright I've got one Asian salad, can I get you anything else tonight?"

In some Spanish speaking countries it is pronounced like that, maybe they weren't perfect on their English.

FYI Asia is pronounced Aah-see-aah in many central Asian languages. ey-zhaah is the American pronounciation. Now who's right and who's not?
