Today, I went to see a movie by myself and ended up sitting next to a couple on a first date, who spent the whole movie whispering to each other. FML

It’s OK to move to another seat when that happens unless you have an assigned seat like in some theaters or the theater is completely full. Even with an assigned seat, if the theater is not full, I would change seats if I was around movie talkers.

This is the best time to buy a big popcorn and a soda with extra noisy straw. That will give you a whole range of sound effects to make whenever the lovebirds stage-whisper too much.

Got into a verbal near shouting match with some woman while seeing Cocaine Bear. She kept pulling her phone out. I asked her to put it away, and it eventually escalated to her trying to push blame on me for interrupting the film when if she had kept her phone away like any sane movie goer, I wouldn't have said anything.
