Creepy disruption

Today, my stepbrother, with whom I’ve had a normal relationship with since we were 5, announced that he’s in love with me. I rejected him, but now my stepmom who’s Catholic is blaming me for "seduction and immorality" blah blah, while my dad now thinks my brother is a pervert who needs to live somewhere else. FML

I’m given to understand that blaming women and/or outsiders for everything is the Catholic Way. But holy yikes, that is messed up. I’m glad your dad at least can see sense in this situation. Please be careful around your stepbrother, because who knows what he’ll do.

Tell your stepmom God made you, so it's his fault if you're immoral.

Uh, what? He made a comment or statement, not a threat or action indicating rape. Don’t treat him like that just for a statement. Also, step is not half. Biologically unrelated. Even if religious, there is no moral or ethical issue here anyways. And it doesn’t sound like OP is returning the same sentiment. Let me guess, you’re the type of person who’d call 911 on a guy for sitting at a park bench (possibly while his kid plays in park) because you assume he’s there to do child sexual assault. Wtf?
