Some people started late and are scared of driving. Some people live in bigger cities where driving is an inconvenience. Imagine some people getting to their location and driving ages to find a parking space and knowing had they yearn public transportation, they'd be where they wanted already. And in some places, paying for parking is expensive, and they know they can do it because everyone else is doing it and there are no free spaces available.

A lot of people get their driving license long before they have their own car. It’s a good thing to have a license in case you ever need to drive. For example, to drive someone else’s car because they are drunk or really tired. When you are looking for a job, you should know that sometimes they will hire preferably someone who has a driving license over someone who doesn’t.
