Broke

Today, my car broke down. The good news is I can afford to have it fixed. The bad news is paying for the fix will wipe out my savings, which I need to get certified for a non-minimum-wage job. FML

If it's possible, get the certification first and then pay to repair your car.

Invest in a bus pass for the time being.

If it was a BMW that would cost at least 10 years pay

If she had a BMW I don't think she'd be working minimum wage..

NO ONE KILL ME. Is it possible to get the repairs put on a credit card or paid with a loan until your certification goes through? Then you can quickly pay it off before the interest gets too high.

That's it. I've had enough of your sass. *Murders you.*

Get the certification and take the Sketchers Express.

Take uber for a while then when you have the better job pay for yourcar

Pray and you'll get through it?

Wait, what? In the US, you need to prove that you have savings to be offered a decently paid job? How does that make any sense?

They need their savings to pay for a certification.

Can't you get a settlement with the repair shop to pay them on an extended period?

if you have to dip into your savings, itsnot affordable
