Anxiety

Today, I realised exactly how bad my social anxiety has gotten when I had a panic attack watching someone ask someone else out on a fictional show. FML

Are you getting professional help? You don’t have to live like this if you don’t want to. Mental health is just as important as physical health.

I have in the past but sort of reached the limit of it being able to work. my social anxiety presents mostly in agorophobic tendencies (unable to leave the house/area/place my brain deems as safe). The main treatment is exposure therapy, however, i am living somewhere that currently has some of the strictest restrictions in the world due to covid19, which has set me back quite significantly. once restrictions are eased ill be able to get back on with the exposure therapy. but until then, lucky lucky me gets to just stew on my anxiety. the most helpful piece of professional advice I've received is "if you feel like you want to kill yourself, call the mental health triage to see if you need to be admitted to care.".

It's a good thing you commented, albeit tritely and with a banal platitude, otherwise they'd have social anxiety for no one in the whole world saying anything about their story.
