There's an easy way to tell how long it's been doing that. Just keep it from drinking the coffee and see how long the energy loss from caffeine withdrawal lasts.

The point is they aren't really FMLs. Not this one in particular, all those FMLs with cat/dog problems. If your life sucks because you have a pet, then don't get it in first place.
