You little shit

Today, one of my students tried to bribe me $200 to change his grade. When I said no and told him he was lucky I didn't report him, he went to the dean and told him I offered to change his grade for money. I'm now suspended and under investigation. FML

Next time, don't warn them, just report it.

Sounds like someone has a Grade A attitude

It's such a shame that it seems no one can trust anyone's word nowadays . If I were you op I would ask to be compensated when proved innocent. Good luck and try not to whoop the kids ass .

Get the ruler stick and...

What a jerk/ass

In moderation this morning you wrote that he bribe you with $2,400..

What you need to do is start recording everything that's what I do with my mom, sadly it helps a lot

Hey 200 bucks is better than nothing.

You know what? **** that school if they believe a kid over one of their staff. In my room I got cameras, not cause they don't trust me cause I got computers. But for real start searching for a new school

It's easy to say that in principle but college/university postings are rare, and if OP has tenure at the university, throwing that away is pretty much accepting a 75%-90% pay cut.

Poor OP is probably an adjunct. No authority at all.

Oh, probably. Which is the new trend. Hiring a bunch of teaching assistants and adjuncts is way less expensive than having a permanent faculty.

Tell his other professors to flunk his ass.

That is seriously disgusting and I hope it all works out for you in the best way!

isn't it wonderful how a baseless accusation can completely screw up your life?
