Today, when I finally got delivered the new kitchen table that I ordered online a week ago, I found out that it was actually a kitchen table for a dollhouse, as I forgot to check the size. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I stayed up until 2 a.m. building my daughter's birthday present because I wanted everything to be perfect when she woke up. She opened the little oven door on the toy kitchen, and the whole thing collapsed onto the floor. I found an unopened bag of screws sitting on the table. FML
Today, I tried to decorate my coffee table by following a DIY project I found on Pinterest, but I ended up ruining it and now have to buy a new one instead. FML
Today, halfway through assembling a toy kitchen for a birthday, I realized the instructions made no sense and half the screws looked identical. I still somehow finished it and felt triumphant until the kid opened the oven door, the whole thing tipped sideways, and I had to spend the rest of the party holding it together with one hand. FML
Today, I spent hours assembling a bookshelf I'd bought online. Once it was finally done, I realized I’d put the back panel on backwards, so now there’s a "Made in China" label facing the room. FML
Today, I was so tired that I thought the item I'd ordered a few months ago had been delivered then stolen, so I emailed the company about it. When I checked back on the website, I realized it hadn't actually been delivered yet and I read the invoice wrong. FML
Today, I ordered a designer jacket online. When it arrived, it was doll-sized. It turns out that I bought a limited edition meant for action figures. FML
Today, my class got baby dolls for the week to teach us how to be good parents. After school, I went to the store with my mom with the baby doll. When I got home, I realized that I left the baby doll in a shopping cart. FML
Today, I ordered groceries online and thought I’d gotten a good deal on apples. I didn't notice they were sold individually, so now I have 36 apples sitting in my kitchen. FML
Today, I finally got a package for some pieces that my model kit was missing after I had contacted customer services about the problem. The package was still missing a piece. FML
Today, my wife texted me, saying an expensive piece of furniture had been delivered. I specifically said, "Wait until I get home and we'll put it together." An hour later, she opened it and broke it beyond repair while trying to assemble it herself. FML

You're not wrong. I take doll photos and have built a custom dollhouse, and some of the high quality stuff built by really talented people can cost a huge amount.

It would depend on what exactly they mean by kitchen table for a dollhouse. Looking it up, I can buy a fairly basic people sized dining room table for about a 100 bucks on sale plus tax and delivery. On that same website I can buy doll furniture for dolls 18" starting at about 20 bucks and going through a range all the way up to about $350. The same as with human furniture it's really dependent on what the doll furniture is made out of, whether or not it is handcrafted or mass produced, and of course the size of the item which is proportioned to the size of the doll it is meant for. So it is, in theory possible, that if the OP didn't look at the proportions and the seller didn't label it clearly as doll furniture, that the OP could have ordered what they thought was a basic inexpensive table and instead got a table for a larger doll. It is also possible that the OP is saying it is a table for a Dollhouse but it is actually one of those pieces of furniture made for toddlers playrooms/playhouses.
