Today, it snowed. Rather than enjoy the view, my roommate had to complain every five minutes about the mentally challenged neighbor shovelling snow all day long. As long as he doesn't shovel it into my yard, I really don't care what he does to pass the time in lockdown. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I spent over an hour shovelling the walkway and driveway, snow blowing in my face and down my coat. When I was finally finished, a guy started going through the neighborhood plowing everyone's driveways for them. FML
Today, I shoveled the driveway because there's enough snow to block my car. Overnight we're supposed to get six more inches of snow. It's like shoveling the driveway is a waste of time because more snow gets piled on it the next day. FML
Today, my elderly neighbor used his snowblower to send all of the fallen leaves in his yard into mine, which I'd raked earlier that morning. FML
Today, my neighbor yelled at me because, according to him, the sound of me scraping the ice off my windshield wakes him up every morning. This is the same neighbor who ran over my mailbox last week because there was too much snow on his windows to see properly. FML
Today, I woke up to every window in my house packed with snow. It was so bad that I thought I'd been snowed-in, and I started freaking out. It took two hours and multiple phone calls before I found out that my neighbor had taken our prank war too seriously and staged the whole thing. FML
Today, I decided that it would be good exercise to shovel the ice on the backyard patio. Now I can't stand up. FML
Today, the first snow of the season fell. My husband celebrated by pelting me with snowballs, while I was on the toilet. FML
Today, I got snowed in. At work. FML
Today, the men clearing the walkway outside my dorm room with a snowblower didn't realize that my window was open. I looked over from my computer to see snow shooting in, covering my clock, closet, and radio. Now it's melting. FML
Today, I shoveled snow at work. I had to because my co-workers refused to "get sick." I told my co-workers if anyone needs me, just tell them I'm shoveling snow. Our boss asked for me and they said that I left without punching. This also happened when I went out to water the flowers in the summer. FML

I'm going to assume that this may be a weekday and they may work from home; unable to take a break to help shovel. OPs roommate may be the one who's mentally challenged if something like that bothers him, and OP has the right to say 'As long as they don't shovel it into my yard' (I'm also going to assume here OP meant his driveway, especially if they're side by side) whether they're challenged or not. No one likes to shovel again if they don't have to! I'm just throwing possibilities out there. The neighbor may do it to pass the time. My hometown there's a couple mentally able but challenged people who do these things multiple times a day to keep their minds and bodies busy outside. Nothing wrong with them doing it routinely alone. :)

Screw it. I’d don on a mask and go help and then make a snowman with them. If this is what you think of disabled people, you deserve your roommate. I’d go have fun with them making snow angels and have fun with a snowball fight. Sounds better than listening to you or your roommate complain.
