Today, while working as a cashier at a fast food restaurant, a customer asked me how many chicken nuggets were in our 6 count chicken nuggets. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I accidentally asked the cashier at Wendy's how much their 99 cent chicken nuggets were. I guess he is still laughing at me. FML
Today, a customer asked me how long our 6-inch sandwich was. FML
Gratitude
Today, I saw a man help an elderly lady with her tray at the local McDonald's. I wanted to do something nice for him, so I added a couple extra nuggets in his meal. He later came up to me and told me I was dumb and didn't know how to count, and that was why I was working at McDonald's. FML
That's no excuse
Today, a customer yelled at me because I wouldn’t sell her a boneless chicken bucket with extra fries, beans, coleslaw and Pepsi. I work at Subway. FML
Zero waste
Today, at work, I had to shovel down 5 burgers, 3 (4 piece) nuggets, 8 regular fries, and 8 orange juices from McDonald's. When my officemates asked about my "food trip", I told them I was just really hungry. I couldn't tell them I only did this to complete the toy set. FML
Today, while I was working at McDonald's, a man and his wife ordered a Sundae. I gave the guy his sundae and realized I'd forgotten something. I said, "One second sir. Let me grab your nuts." I realized what I said when his wife gave me the death glare. FML
I just work here
Today, while checking out a couple at work, I handed them their receipt and wished them a good day. The woman promptly pulled her husband to the side, and whispered to him about how much of a "fucking idiot" I was for making the prices so high. I work at McDonald's. FML
Sorry, I didn't mean…
Today, I asked a girl at the restaurant I work at if she'd had enough to eat. When she said yes, I said, "Are you sure?" I didn't realize how insulting it sounded until her equally overweight mom was up in my face, demanding to see my manager. FML
Karen strikes again
Today, at work as a manager at pizza place, I got yelled by a customer because they got one fewer paper plates than they asked for. FML
Today, while working at McDonald's, a woman asked me what came on a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. Trying not to laugh, I respond, "Bacon, egg, and cheese." She then realizes the stupidity of her question, and launches three dollars worth of quarters at my face and says, "Laugh at that, jerk." FML

If you say "five" you might get a bonus nugget for yourself!

The customer may always be right, but they are usually also pretty dumb.

#2, #8: *Stupidity. Neither vision nor literacy was needed, since he knew he was asking about the six count of nuggets.

It could be that their order is constantly messed up and they only get 5 nuggets and are ensuring that they get all 6 nuggets .... Wouldn't be the first time I had to ask something stupid so my order wasn't messed up. I once asked for the egg mcmuffin and was asked if I wanted that as a meal, I said no just the mcmuffin sandwich by itself not a combo and they literally gave me a toasted mcmuffin without egg, cheese, or ham. So yeah sometimes I ask very stupid questions to ensure I get exactly what I asked for.... just saying.

Alas, the catch-22 situation. If you snark '5', you'll be an asshole; if you answer '6', you'll still be considered an asshole. -_-

Or, you have to option of answering in a polite way and not making a big deal about the stupidity of the question. People sometimes ask stupid questions, that isn't really even an FML in my opinion. If you can't take dumb questions don't work in customer service. Unless you are condescending or appear annoyed in your delivery of information, you can't really be seen as an asshole. I've dealt with way worse in healthcare, even to the point of physical assault. I would have said six and kept it moving.
