Today, while talking with a coworker, we discussed a weekend home invasion scenario. It was then that I realized my social circle is so non-existent, that my job would notice I'm gone before my friends would. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my social life consists of eavesdropping on my two coworkers chatting. FML
Today, I returned home from a three-week vacation. None of my friends realized I'd been gone. FML
Today, I was leaving work when I realized I had forgotten my bag on my desk. As I went back to get it, I overheard my co-workers talking about "last night's office party." I wasn't invited. FML
Messed up
Today, as I returned home, I noticed some movement inside my house. Thinking it was a break-in, I called 911. It was my friends and some coworkers trying to throw me a surprise birthday party. Nobody's said a word to me since. FML
Have fun!
Today, I worked from home and, by coincidence, it was the day that my partner was going away for the weekend with some friends. When one of them picked her up, I noticed that the other friend's husband was going on the trip. So other husbands are invited… but not me. FML
Today, I realized that the only times I get to hang out with my friends outside of school are when one of them accidentally mentions plans in front of me and they are obligated by social protocol to invite me. FML
Today, I got locked inside my office again by my co-workers because they had forgotten I was still around when they left. This happens 1 or 2 times a week. FML
Today, it was my second day at my new job as a bank teller. I got locked in the vault while alarms were being tested. I was in there for an hour and none of my coworkers had even noticed that I'd gone missing. Gee, thanks. FML
The Crying Game
Today, I noticed that my weekend hobby is crying. I live in a city where I don't have a single friend or relative. FML
Classic
Today, at work, I casually mentioned I was meeting some friends for dinner. My co-worker's response was, "You have friends?!" FML

Work friends still count as friends, and if you're not in school then you would need to actively go out and make friends. Form better relationships with co-workers and from there your circle can get wider :)

Maybe you should look into finding some more friends for safety reasons

I'm desperate. Where do you find these so called "friends"? I'm asking for a...friend. Wait.

At least you know someone would be looking for you?

I'm the same. I'd much rather have a few good friends than a bunch of fake friends

All I can say is that at least someone would notice if you disappeared. It could be worse, and no one notices that you're gone

What happened to all of July's FMLs?

Sometimes people's friends are from work though

That's true to me too, what someone up there said about friends and safety, except I don't have a job, they'd just find out after school told them if something went wrong, such as the summer where something almost did.

Well it better then not being noticed at all.
