Today, we got a letter regarding my sister's college career and an appointment she was required to go to. This seems fitting, since she's a senior in high school, or at least she would be if she hadn't passed away a little over a year ago. FML

Today, my sister announced her pregnancy at my husband's funeral. FML
Today, I found out I won't be able to go to college. Why? My sister's horse needs surgery. FML
Today, I received yet another rejection letter from a college I'd applied to. After crying for a week about how lousy I felt, my older sister gave me all 6 of the acceptance letters she'd been hiding. Turns out she's been forging rejection letters and keeping the real ones in her room. FML
Today, my sister is working on her graduation speech. She gives her thanks to one friend for helping support her through school, like, "The sister I never had". FML
Today, I was cleaning my father's study room and wondering why I did not receive my acceptance/rejection letter from a college I really wanted. I found the acceptance letter, on his desk, also approving of a full scholarship. The deadline to confirm was a month ago. FML
Today, I had to go to my daughter's school because she hasn't been going to class. Her teacher seemed surprised to see me with my husband when we arrived. Apparently I "died" recently and my daughter has had extra responsibility around the house, hence why she doesn't come to class. FML
Today, my mom received a condolence card from my high school's alumni association for my recent passing. I'm still alive! FML
Today, my parents gave me a letter they'd forgotten about since late last year. In it was a $30,000 scholarship to a local master's program with an application due date of two weeks ago. FML
Today, my sister asked me how my boyfriend was doing. He died two years ago. She was the first person I told. FML
Today, my ten-year-old sister had to write out my job application because no one can read my terrible handwriting. FML

I'm so sorry. That must be really painful. Every once in a while Facebook tells me that I should "reconnect" with people with whom I haven't spoken in a long while. This includes my dead mother. I just want to smack Facebook upside the head when that happens.

Sorry for your loss 0P. Several months after my mother passed away I got an envelope in the mail addressed to my mom. We lived in the same complex and the mailman would just put her mail in my mailbox after she died. The envelope was a solicitation for her to renew a subscription to a magazine and written on the outside of the envelope said ‘ Please come back Ruth M_ _ _ _’. My sister and I were shocked at first but we agreed… We wish.

My little sister passed away a year ago too, so I feel your pain. Sorry for your loss. My parent just had to put her dog down today too, cause he was old and in pain. Another piece of her lost.
