Today, the guy that I'm in love with and plan to marry some day told me he would choose a million dollars over me. I got upset and told him I no longer want to be with him. In an excited voice he said, "Really? So are you serious I don't have to worry about this love stuff anymore?" FML

Today, I was in the car with my boyfriend. After telling him how much I loved him, he asked me to marry him. When I said yes and started crying, he said he wasn't sure if he really wants to get married. FML
Today, my "boyfriend" told me that he loves money more than me and would date it if he could. FML
Today, my boyfriend admitted he didn't want to marry me, not because he doesn't want to spend his life with me, but because he'd seen two friends get ruined by divorce settlements, and he "doesn't want my hooks in him." I love him with all my heart and would never dream of pulling a marriage con. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend of two years that I wanted to get married eventually, and there's no way to talk me out of it. He broke up with me immediately. FML
Today, my boyfriend said, "I won't marry you, but I want to spend my life with you." When I told him that upset me, he said, "My ex completely changed once we got married, and I like you as you are now." FML
Today, in the same sentence, my boyfriend told me that he wanted to "spend the rest of his life with me," and "I want to break up with you because I can't face your family." FML
Today, my fiancé told me that after 7 years together, he is no longer in love with me. Shocked and appalled, I asked him if he had anything else to add. "Happy Birthday." FML
Today, my boyfriend called me explaining that he is getting married this weekend to a woman he met on Craigslist. Why? Because I won't marry him, and he'll make an extra thousand dollars per month having a wife since he is in the army. FML
Today, I got into a minor argument with my fiancé. Deciding it wasn't worth fighting over, I shrugged and said, "Really, what are we even doing this for?" To which he replied, "Honestly, I don't know. I haven't loved you in years… Oh, you meant about the fight." And just like that, I'm now single. FML
Today, my boyfriend "proposed" to me. When we first started dating, he told me that he hated the concept of marriage and absolutely never wanted to go through with it. So I laughed and turned him down, obviously thinking it was just a joke. He was serious. FML

I find your choice of verb tenses odd. Specifically "I'm in love with and plan to marry some day" instead of "I was in love with and planned to marry some day".

I can't speak for your boyfriend or any guy for that matter but for me, a million dollars over a relationship with an annoying, insecure guy would seem pretty reasonable. Seriously, I don't understand the logic of people who ask hypothetical questions that serve only to make themselves feel fuzzy inside. It makes them annoying. This is the stupid, unfunny kind of irony that makes the guilty side miserable and annoys the innocent side (in other words, no one wins, especially not you). Please, take a lesson from this experience. Enrich your life. Help rid the world of compliment fishing.

As much as that really sucks, I gotta say YDI it for setting him up with one of those stupid questions that girls ask guys to try and force them to pay a compliment. It's incredibly manipulative. If you DIDN'T happen to ask him one of those questions, then holy shit, FYL.
