Today, I figured out how my birth control works. If you're on your period for four months straight you can't have sex, so you won't be pregnant. FML

Today, I went to the doctor because I have been getting my period every week and a half and they are ridiculously heavy. He then spent the entire time discussing painkillers (I'm allergic to most) and when I asked to be put on birth control, he said I'd need another appointment for that. FML

consider yourself lucky...i got the pill injection and i was on my period for 12 weeks straight, now its left me with a very painful period every 2 weeks, a belly that swells up after eating so i look 3 months pregnant and ibs..your lucky!
