Today, someone asked my fiancée and I how we met. She said, "Well, it was just supposed to be a one night stand!" and laughed, right as I was about to take her hand and say, "It was love at first sight!" FML

Today, it was my wedding day. I gave a speech about the first time my wife and I met. I said I knew she was the perfect woman for me and it was love at first sight. I looked to my right as she stormed off and then realized I had told a story about my ex-girlfriend who was sitting in the crowd. FML
Today, I asked my husband when he first knew he loved me. He replied, totally honestly, that I was the easiest girl he'd ever managed to talk into a one-night stand, only instead of doing the walk of shame the next morning, I stayed so long we ended up married with kids. FML
Today, my girlfriend of one month and I had an amazing night of dinner and dancing, but when I leaned in to kiss her, she said, "You're joking right?" FML
Today, while at my ex-girlfriend's wedding, I had to hear her explain how she met the love of her life. This happened in the four years we were dating. FML
Today, my boyfriend asked me why I chose to date him. After going on for five minutes about how unique and funny he is, I ask him the same question. His reply? "You were the first person to ask me out." He then rolled over and fell asleep. FML
Today, at my ex's wedding, I had to listen to his joyful recounting of how he met his bride and how they fell instantly in love and he knew she was perfect for him. All this happened while we were still dating. FML
Today, I went with my fiancé to meet his parents. He was really sweet the whole way there, and once we got there he introduced me as "he girl I'm going to marry." His parents took one look at me and said, "Are you sure?" I laughed, because I thought they were joking. They weren't. FML
Today, I saw a cute girl at a night club. When I approached her and introduced myself, she said "Don't you remember me? We danced here last weekend... but you were smashed that night". I cheekily replied "Oh really? That's hot, what happened next?" She said "You were hitting on me. So, I left." FML
Today, I went to a local bar for a speed dating event. The first person I hooked up with took one look at my face, burst into laughter, and walked out of the bar practically doubling over. FML
Today, I was laying with my girlfriend on the couch. I looked at her and said, "You're so beautiful. How did I ever get you?" She replied, "I was drunk." FML

yes to truely love someone at first sight is impossible if you do somthing is wrong. however to like someone since your first interaction is plausible. from there the relationship gets closer and may or may not result in love. the expression refers to enjoying someones presence since you met them through their tone and body language not just through their looks confidence can be noticed by others who know what to look for why cannot trends in emotions?

1. OP, GOD, I am sure she was joking. However, let her know it hurt your feelings instead of posting here. 2. For all of the people arguing about love and relationships. Get over yourselves. 3. The 18 months thing is typically true of your average relationship. Everyone who is so in love, esecially the men. Would you die for whoever you fell in love with at first sight? Didn't think so... so you weren't in love. 4. To all of those who think all the love at first sight people are idiots. Have you ever heard of people who saw someone across the room and decided that they would marry that person and ta-da. They actually got married and lived ever after. 5. There needs to be a new link! um, this is not an FML moment.

I would take that as a compliment; if she originally wanted a one-night stand, but she stayed, that shows that you were a good person!
