Today, my pregnant girlfriend gave me back the ring I'd used to propose with a week ago. Her reason? She only said yes because she was worried the real father of the baby wasn't going to stick around. FML

Today, I turned down my boyfriend's proposal because I'm pregnant and I told him I didn't want people thinking that's why we were getting married. He… did not react well. Yes, he knows that I'm pregnant. FML
Today, three weeks after my girlfriend told me she was pregnant, she admitted it was a lie. Turned out it was just a test to see if I'd break up with her or not. I didn't, but I did just break the bank buying all the things we'd need for an actual kid. FML

The tone of this FML makes me think either she cheated or she was pregnant before they got together. Unless the term "real father" doesn't mean that to anyone but me..... Anyway, kind of sucks that he didn't realize she was still trying to have a relationship with the father.

Why is it good on him? It seems he believed that his GF was pregnant with his baby. He had no knowledge of the "real" father. So he's a good guy for not ditching a woman he potentionally impregnated? Maybe that's just my interpretation of the FML and how it was worded.

It's good on him because a lot of guys will break up with a girl when they are prevent, so by staying with her, he proved to be one of the better people of our society, as opposed to his ex-partner, who is a disgrace.
