Today, my mom tried to give me a pep talk to boost my self confidence. Somehow, it ended up turning into a conversation about how much of a loser I am and how I have no friends. FML
Today, I told my mom she made me feel unloved my whole life. She called my sister and apologized. FML
Today, my mom said that if I wasn't her daughter, she probably wouldn't even like me. FML
Today, I told my mom, "I love you". She responded with, "What? I never told you I loved you." FML
Today, my fiancé told my mom that she screwed me up. I now have to write an apologetic e-mail to her for something that I agree with, in order for her to stop calling me crying. FML
Today, feeling very self-conscious about my looks, I told my mom I felt ugly and wished I could be as beautiful as her. She only said, "Yeah, I'm pretty, I wonder what happened to you." FML
Today, I overheard my daughter compliment my mother by saying "My mom is way flabbier than you, Grandma." When I told her later that she hurt my feelings, she told me to "man up." She's seven. FML
Today, my mom accused me of being pregnant. She wouldn't believe me when I told her I'm a virgin, and she challenged me to take a pregnancy test. It came back with a false positive. FML
Today, my mother looked me dead in the face and said, "I have failed as a parent." FML
Today, once again, my mom ranted about how she sacrificed so much for me by moving to a better city. I said it was for my education and to stop making me feel like a burden. She scoffed, "Right, you never should've been born. My mistake." FML

are you kidding me? I know plenty of people who's best quality is they can find cheap drugs. there are people in this world that just float by and mooch their way through life. if op is one of these people, they either need to man up and do something about or at least stop bitching about the truth. yes, making stuff up isn't good, but would you want tell your child that they're a worthless piece of shit? and I realize this only an assumption, but its still a perfectly logical possibility.

Uuuhhh, maybe she IS a bitch, I've had self esteem issues for as long as I can remember because I was constantly told by my mum that nothing was ever good enough..... It took over twenty friends and two boyfriends telling me how nasty my mum is before I realised that there really wasn't anything wrong with me, she just had nothing nice to say, even if it's something as small as "you can jump so high!!" My daughter gets compliments from me everyday
