Today, my mom cleaned out my bank account, saying my "no-good dad" owes her child support and that she'll get it one way or another. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Narcissistic parents FTW
Today, I told my mom I wasn't doing very good mentally and I was looking for some support. She decided to remind me of all of the things I still haven't paid her back for. I'm now an unpaid loan, not her daughter. FML
Today, I found out my mom took around $2,500 from my savings account to pay off my sister's college tuition. She recently flunked out of her studies and won't be returning to college anyway. FML
Today, I found out that my mom bet my dad $100 that she could pay my boyfriend ten bucks to break up with me. She is now $90 richer. FML
Remember the promise you made
Today, my mom decided to go against every promise she's made to everyone once again and left us in financial ruin. How? She took advantage of my kindness, and didn't pay any of the money she owes me for driving my car, and for so much more. I'm more than $2,000 in debt now. FML
Today, I found out that my dad has been trying to take money out of my savings account to pay for divorce fees and a hammock. FML
Addict
Today, my mother asked me if she could borrow $200. Being the lovely daughter I am, I gave her my bank card to withdraw it herself. She gambled it away and maxed my bank account out. I had $1500 saved. FML
Today, my dad asked to borrow some money off me, so I said okay. Later on, he told me he'll be using it to help divorce my mom. I pretty much just helped pay for my parents' divorce. FML
Ill gotten gains suspected
Today, my nosy mom opened my mail and saw how much I have in my account. She confiscated my debit card because she’s convinced no one could save that much working part time at Burger King and is demanding I confess where so much money came from. I'm moving out. Fuck her. FML
It's the final countdown
Today, I found out my mom has notebooks with lists of everything she has bought for me ever since I was born. Apparently she is going to make me pay her back for all the money she spent on me once I'm an adult. FML
Today, my dad had something to tell me. He'd cleaned out my bank account to pay off 38,000 dollars worth of gambling debt. My wedding is in 5 months. FML

So she's taking your money because she's not getting money that is meant for you? Great logic!

Bitch! It's called "Child Support"...Not "Loser Mom Support". She shouldn't be touching your money OP. Don't let her get away with this.

Call the police that is super illegal. But this is why you don't put your mother in your bank account.

Take your mother off your bank account ASAP!! And call the police for theft. And even if the father files for bankruptcy, it doesn't excuse child support or student loans, he owes that for life. If you are over 14 or 18, you have to pursue the child support yourself.

Report her ass for theft. If she has beef with your dad, she takes that matter up with him. Not you, OP.

I hope she's using it to sue your dad...But I know she's not?

OP, I get this more than most. I'm 36 now, but I'd saved from the time I was 13 to buy my own car. I finally did so at 17. Being a minor, I wasn't legally allowed to register it, insure or title in my name. So we titled it to my dad. My parents also divorced when I was 17. Mom demanded that dad sign my car over to her, since I was going to live with her until I left for college. Dad agreed to so long as she agreed to sign the car over to me once I turned 18. Mom agreed to. Then she asked me to drop her car off for an oil change while I was at school. I did so, as the quik-lube was right across the street from my school. While I was at school that day, My Mom promptly sold my car for $1500 to a lady she worked with for HER 16 year old son. I'd scrimped and saved for 4 years to make enough money to pay $4500 for that car. I asked her about the money, and she said "17 years back rent, you're getting off cheap." Then she used the money to take a solo vacation to Hawaii. She had the gaul to act surprised when I'd moved to my dad's while she was gone. Even called the cops on my dad for custodial interference. And she wonders why i have trust issues. (We eventually got the car back, after my dad went to them and told them what she'd done, and bought it back. Even then they'd refused to sell it until their son said he wasn't going to drive it, knowing what had happened.) My advice, get away from her. I know she's your mom, but to blatantly steal from you even though the law may say it's okay. When people are in that much emotional pain, they lose sight of what matters, all they care about is "winning" They don't see who they're hurting in the process, only that they 'got even'

I know she's your mom, but you shouldn't have given her access in the first place. YDI & FYL.

Have you ever thought to yourself that said bank account was likely created by OP's mother or father?
