Today, my house was broken into. After we called the police, my dad started calling himself Sherlock Holmes and talking in a British accent. He insists on calling me Watson. He is going around the neighborhood acting like Sherlock, investigating stuff. He won't stop. FML

When I was about 9, I saw an 80s movie with Sherlock Holmes and Watson. There was a creepy scene where these little pastries and cupcakes sprouted eyeballs, and hurled themselves at watson's mouth. That is all I recall of that movie, but it was freaky.

People react to stress in very different ways. Having your house broken into is a personal violation on a pretty deep level. Most likely this will pass in a day or so. If not, professional counseling might be necessary.
