Today, my friend came over with brownies as a treat before work. She works in a bakery so I thought it was lovely. After starting work, I became stoned. She thought it was a great prank. I was fired. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, someone had been stealing my brownie at work every day, so I sprinkled cocolax on one and waited to find out who the culprit was. Turns out it was my manager. Needless to say, I'm fired. FML
Today, I baked some regular brownies for my friend. Just to mess with him, after he ate some, I said they had weed in them. He trashed my room in anger, and still won't believe me when I tell him that I didn't actually slip him any drugs. FML
Today, I baked some brownies and after my mom ate one, I joked that I put weed in them. Turns out the placebo effect's a bitch, because she quickly started acting high as a kite. One bitch fit later, the brownies are in the trash and I'm grounded until I tell her where I bought the "weed". FML
Today, I made brownies for my co-workers. My boss called me into his office, and I though he was going to compliment me on the baking. Instead, he talked about how his 5-year-old daughter can make brownies better than me. FML
Today, my boss found out that my girlfriend dumped me. He asked if that meant she would no longer bring her delicious homemade cookies to the office. When I said yes, he fired me on the spot. FML
Today, I told the coworker who sits next to me that I don't smoke weed anymore, after she brought a spliff to work. I then got called into the directors' boardroom to receive a warning for smelling like marijuana at work. I was only allowed one more warning before they were due to fire me. FML
Today, I arrived at the pizza place I work at to find that I'd been fired. Apparently, the class stoner came in last night and not only demanded a free pizza, but also claimed that I always gave him one. I've never talked to this kid in my life, but my boss still doesn't believe me. FML
Today, my asshat roommate tricked me into eating a weed brownie. I thought it was his terrible attempt at baking regular brownies until it kicked in at college. I was so high, I started giggling like a schoolgirl when my instructor said "Dickens". Now everyone thinks I'm a retard. FML
Today, I visited a friend at work with a couple of other friends. We like to play pranks, so we went to his register and started loudly discussing our masturbation habits as a joke. Some bitch complained, and his boss fired him and kicked us all out. FML
Today, I was having a really bad day and told my friend at lunch about how stressed I was and he gave me his brownie to cheer me up. After school, he texted me "Did the brownies kick in?" Yes, they did, right in the middle of my English presentation. They were "funny" brownies. FML

"special" brownies have a VERY distinctive taste. I say she knew what they were but kept eating anyway.. or else I'd guess this isn't true. you can't just eat weed brownies without realizing something is wrong.

52 - There are actually some methods of baking special brownies which make them taste completely normal. if you just throw the special ingredient into the mix, the taste and texture will be noticeable. However most people make them via special butter or oil (whichever the brownie recipe calls for) and there is no way to tell that they are any different.

Agreed, 71. I had a friend whose mother made some of these "special" brownies for a friend of hers who is allowed to use medical marijuana. My friend wasn't aware of this, and had one, since their mother hadn't warned them not to eat it. Didn't have a clue it had marijuana in it, and said it was the worst feeling in the world. I'm at least glad they won't ever have marijuana again.

You're a dumb ****. They probably aren't a stoner and don't carry around eye drops and such to hide it. As for it being free OP has to find a new job in a terrible economy, which may take months, a year, or more, equalling thousands of dollars that they are out.
