Today, my ex-boyfriend asked me to homecoming, in front of the whole school, knowing I have social anxiety. I was forced to say yes to not seem like an asshole. Now I can't back out. FML

Just pretend you're married. Go home, call his ass up and bitch him out for doing that in public, then tell him you will NOT be going with him and if he does that shit again you will announce to the entire school that the reason you two split up is he just couldn't sexually satisfy you!

this advice is coming from a crazy evil bitch. go on to facebook or whatever and find a different high school. find a bunch of guys and messege them what happened and the messege with "so i really need a guy to go with so i can try and enjoy homecoming and not have to deal with him. would you be free on (put date here) to act as my date". then when homecoming comes around show up with the guy from another school and ignore your ex all night.

This is something called emotional abuse that can be so much worse and so much harder to get over than visible abuse. This guy sounds as if he is a classic emotional abuser.
