Today, my dentist pulled the wrong tooth. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I went to the dentist to get a tooth pulled. When I woke up I found out they pulled the wrong one. FML
Today, I got a root canal. It wouldn't have been that bad if the dentist hadn't performed it on the wrong tooth. FML
Today, on my way to the dentist, I got rear ended by my own dentist. FML
No pain, no gain
Today, I went to the dentist to get a cavity filled. The numbing medication didn't work, so I felt everything. I was in so much pain that I accidentally bit down on the dentist's finger, causing him to yell in agony. Now, I have to find a new dentist. FML
Snap!
Today, I was flossing my teeth, which I do only to not get yelled at (chewed out?) by my dentist. Dentist I’ll now be seeing later today because the floss broke off a corner of one of my molars. FML
Today, the dentist sneezed in my mouth. FML
Today, I met my new dentist. His teeth are worse than mine. FML
Oops
Today, I went to the dentist to have two cavities filled. I hate going to the dentist. After he'd started drilling, I heard a "clunk" noise followed by an "Oops." My dentist had cut my tooth in half. Now I have to get surgery to have the tooth extracted. FML
Bruxism
Today, after waking up from a bad migraine which caused my teeth to clench, I found out that I broke a molar. A dentist told me it split down to the bone, so I need root canal and an extended crown. Then they told me the tooth below had also broke and has to be pulled. FML
The whole tooth and nothing but the tooth
Today, I had my wisdom teeth pulled. The local anesthesia worked on three of the four teeth. I found out about the last tooth when the dentist was mid-yank. FML

This is where we get off FML, and call up the attorney. "Accidentally" pulled out the wrong tooth? Fishy.

A tooth for a tooth. It's the only answer.

I recall hearing something about this and dentists selling them a few years back. One guy woke up with no chompers left in his maw!

On the plus side, you get a shiny new implant and a bunch of money via your attorney.

Dang, would that even be fixable? I'd imagine you'd get a massive payout, if not. Although I'd also imagine a large chunk of said payout would go on fixing the damage he caused. FYL op!

You're in America, Step 1: File a lawsuit for medical malpractice. Step 2: Win that lawsuit Step 3: Profit

That is actually fairly common in high volume practices. The dentist can have up to 4-5 patients at a time, it's the dental assistants job to make sure he stays on track and you're prepping the correct tooth. (I'm in the dental profession)

Was your dentist Jacques Clouseau?
