Today, my dad and I had a yelling match about me "lying", because I was unable to contact iTunes support without a phone number. To prove a point, he went online to find the phone number. It's been an hour and he's still searching for the number. I can't leave the table until he has found it. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Blame game
Today, my dad tried to blame me for ringing an out of network number for two hours, which charged his bill by the minute. I rang the number, which turned out to belong to one of his business pals who lives abroad. He punished me anyway for having an attitude when I proved the call was his fault. FML
Bigmouth Strikes Again
Today, I was involved in an intense argument with my dad. Just as I yelled, "You haven't done one thing for me", my phone rang. The same phone that, as of today, my dad no longer pays the bill for. FML
Today, I found out my dad bought an iPhone. I've spent the better part of the last six months teaching him how to check his email and online newspapers. FML
Memory man
Today, my dad let me use his phone. Five minutes later, he had my mom call it because he thought he'd lost it. FML
Today, I went to the Apple store to try and figure out what's going on with my iPhone. After an hour of speaking to three different geniuses and waiting around, their solution was to "Google it." FML
Robocall
Today, I have a horribly painful throat infection and can't talk. In spite of this, Dad keeps insisting I call people for him, meaning I have to make use of a text to speech program. Eight out of twelve people I've called on his behalf have hung up, thinking I'm a scambot. Dad is blaming me for it. FML
Impatience
Today, my dad asked me to help him buy a laptop by searching online. He explicitly said, "When you have time." I decided to shower as I had just woken up. While showering, I was startled by loud banging and my dad angrily asking why I wasn't looking for his laptop. FML
Unloved
Today, my dad lied and said he was busy working, all because he didn't want to see me. FML
Today, my mobile phone wouldn't turn on. I took it in to the phone store, but they won't fix or replace it because the account is in my dad's name, not mine. He's abroad for the next month, and the only way to get a hold of him is on a number I only stored on my phone. FML
Clueless
Today, after my dad got frustrated at me last month for not having a job and completely taking over my job searching, claiming it’s not that hard and he’d show me how it’s done. Since then, not one company has called or emailed him back and he doesn’t know why. Welcome to job searching in 2024, Dad. FML

Some people can't handle being wrong. It's sad he's taking it out on his own child.

should've pretended to need the bathroom and run for it. how did this end? and how often do you lie to your father to merit a yelling match?

There's a number. It's called AppleCare. Wow.

Call the Apple store that is nearest to you. Usually located in the mall. They do, in fact have a phone number that you can call to make an appointment to get your iPhone serviced or can help you over the phone. Apple is the brand. iPhone is the product.

Um… it's been an hour now. We want to know how it turned out!

I can't believe how many people are commenting with various wrong phone numbers. The FML is about a phone number for iTunes support, not any other Apple department. You cannot find a direct phone number to iTunes support because it does not exist.

1.) Telephone the following number: 800-275-2273. This is the Apple Care Service and Support Line. 2.) When you hear the recorded greeting, enter 70. The recording will very likely reject that entry at first. If so, try again. 3.) When you're prompted to say the product that you need tech support for, say "iTunes." 4.) When you're prompted to say what type of computer you're using, say "a Windows machine" or "Macintosh." 5.) When you're prompted to say whether you're calling on behalf of a school, answer "yes" or "no." 6.) This will get you a live person. Please note: You will need to state the serial number of your iPod before you can proceed. this took me less then a minute to find...seriously....I can see now why you can't figure out iTunes Some people should NEVER be allowed near technology....smh....

The number is 1 (877) 636 4124, it's really not that hard to find.
