Today, my boyfriend proposed. The ring just had a piece of graphite on it. My boyfriend argued that since graphite and diamonds are both just forms of carbon, it is the same thing. FML

It's the thought that counts. If my husband would have proposed with an onion ring, I wouldn't have complained! just FYI he proposed with a cheap fashion ring but I didn't care because I love him so much and he couldn't afford a real one. (I have a real one now)
