Today, my boyfriend let me know that when we met, he wouldn't have even talked to me if I was as fat as I am now. But lucky for me, he stays with me because, "there's love or something." FML

Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML
Today, even after loving him unconditionally, my originally 340 pound morbidly obese husband, who within the past two years lost almost 200 pounds, left me because now, he "can do so much better". FML
Today, I was talking to my boyfriend about how I'm self conscious about my weight. He looks at me and says, "Don't worry babe, I've always been kind of a chubby chaser." FML
Today, I was hanging out with my boyfriend. Everything seemed to be going well, when all of a sudden he turned to look at me with a pensive and thoughtful expression. I expected him to say something important, but instead he just said, "I was wondering, how does it feel to be fat?" FML
Today, my boyfriend told me I should stop talking about his major gambling problem because he still loves me even though I gained weight. Apparently that evens things out. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I gained a few pounds and thought I looked fat. He replied that I looked the same and that I shouldn't worry because he likes fat girls. I never thought I was fat before this. FML
Today, I heard the guy I love talk to a friend of his. He was telling his friend how he appreciates all my attention, affection, and random gestures such as buying him lunch sometimes, but he’ll never see me in a romantic way because I’m “too fat for his taste.” I was basically used the entire time. FML
Today, my chunky boyfriend told me that he'd be less attracted to me if I gained weight. I have low self-esteem. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were talking about our past relationships. He told me that he broke up with his last girlfriend because she was smart and he suited someone who was quite stupid. He then went on to say that I was perfect for him. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years accidentally admitted to me that he settled for me because he doesn't think he can do any better. FML

Total asshole for being truthful - Sorry but PHYSICAL ATTRACTION is important too, not just emotional compatibility. You need all avenues to make a healthy relationship work. I'm willing to bet he was a bit more tact in HOW he said it and this is just the dramatic interpretation for FML.

Don't listen to some of these morons OP. Don't exercise just to keep him or just to get "hot," do it for YOU. Do it for health. Do it for a long, active life. All these assholes saying YDI are most likely vapid, shallow teenagers with nothing better to do. As much as society tells us otherwise, model skinny isn't pretty. "Perfection" achieved through plastic surgery isn't pretty. You are beautiful just the way you are, and anyone that says otherwise isn't worth your time.

See this is the problem here - Not just people who think everybody should be RAIL THIN but also people who think any suggestion of losing weight is an implication of wanting somebody to be rail thin, both extremes are wrong. I'm not attracted to model thin girls, it's disgusting to me - If I take a girl out to dinner and she only orders a salad I probably wont call her back. However, if I start dating a 5'4 girl whose around 120lbs [thin but with curves and some weight] and she starts to pack on 40lbs of course she's going to here about it. It's just as bad being thin and thinking because you found somebody you can let yourself go. In the same respect, though, as I'm a thin and in shape guy that works out all the time if I suddenly have a beer gut and get lazy with my workouts I expect to hear about it as well. There is nothing wrong with being honest with somebody you're in love with as long as it's done objectively AND tactfully - I'm willing to bet his discussion with her was a bit more tactful [and likely brought up by her saying "I look so fat"] than the FML implies - FMLs are over exaggerated to make them a bit more funny.

And reprimand parents that don't feed their children properly weather it's not enough or too much.

I'm going to try to say this tactfully, but you have no room to condemn someone else's looks or physical features. You think the guy is "sweet and committed" for telling his girlfriend that if he could turn back the clock, he wouldn't be with her if she looked the way she does now? You really have no clue about life or love. I hope the University of Oregon teaches Common Sense 101.

I'm going to try to say this tactfully, at least she has a picture (and don't say how I don't have one either I'VE NEVER COMMENTED ON ANYONE'S PHOTO unless I found it really funny) she looks fine to me. Plus that is NOT what the boyfriend said he's being quite honest people don't seem to like that,
