Today, my boyfriend let me know that when we met, he wouldn't have even talked to me if I was as fat as I am now. But lucky for me, he stays with me because, "there's love or something." FML

Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML
Today, even after loving him unconditionally, my originally 340 pound morbidly obese husband, who within the past two years lost almost 200 pounds, left me because now, he "can do so much better". FML
Today, I was talking to my boyfriend about how I'm self conscious about my weight. He looks at me and says, "Don't worry babe, I've always been kind of a chubby chaser." FML
Today, I was hanging out with my boyfriend. Everything seemed to be going well, when all of a sudden he turned to look at me with a pensive and thoughtful expression. I expected him to say something important, but instead he just said, "I was wondering, how does it feel to be fat?" FML
Today, my boyfriend told me I should stop talking about his major gambling problem because he still loves me even though I gained weight. Apparently that evens things out. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I gained a few pounds and thought I looked fat. He replied that I looked the same and that I shouldn't worry because he likes fat girls. I never thought I was fat before this. FML
Today, I heard the guy I love talk to a friend of his. He was telling his friend how he appreciates all my attention, affection, and random gestures such as buying him lunch sometimes, but he’ll never see me in a romantic way because I’m “too fat for his taste.” I was basically used the entire time. FML
Today, my chunky boyfriend told me that he'd be less attracted to me if I gained weight. I have low self-esteem. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were talking about our past relationships. He told me that he broke up with his last girlfriend because she was smart and he suited someone who was quite stupid. He then went on to say that I was perfect for him. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years accidentally admitted to me that he settled for me because he doesn't think he can do any better. FML

i feel bad for the poor boyfriend who is stuck with a fat woman. today, i realized that my girlfriend, who ate right and exercised when we got together, is now an obese, unattractive blob. apparently she only stayed in shape to "get" a man, and thinks now that we're together it's okay to spend her days eating potato chips on the couch. she accused me of being insensitive because i am not attracted to her repulsive, slug-like anatomy, and then whined about it on fml. she has yet to do a sit-up or anything else to rectify her revolting corpus. FML.

I don't really get the vitriol being flung at OP's bf. Sure he was tactless and kind of rude, but he was just being blunt about a very commonplace occurrence. How many people have let themselves go after a while and yet still enjoy a relationship? Or how many have watched their partners gain weight or lose hair over the years and not really cared because by that point there was love? Honestly speaking, if you met your gf at 20lbs heavier or your bf tubby and balding would you be as attracted at first glance?

Im not attracted to fat men, I love my s/o for so many reasons other than his looks but if i wasn't attracted to him we never would have started dating. If you've gained an unreasonable amount of weight and your boyfriend isn't attracted to you but still loves you, i don't understand how you could be upset at him for that. I stay in shape, I look good and I expect the same. People you genuinely but are not attracted to are FRIENDS not boyfriends and girlfriend in my opinion. I will say that he was a little tactless but men can sometimes not realize exactly how sensitive someone is about their weight or whatever other flaws they have.

If you love someone you want them to be happy. Then ask yourself; are they happy with a fat girlfriend? It takes maybe an hour of exercise a day to keep thin. That and staying of the junkfood.
