Today, my boyfriend asked me to pick up a few things from the store for him while he was at work. After picking up everything he asked for, I wasn't left with much money so I used $50 from my account. When he got home he then grumbled about me spending all of "his" money. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Equality
Today, my boyfriend keeps mentioning how well his new job pays, while I don’t have any income. He then got upset when I expected him to pay for the groceries I got on my way to his new place. What I bought was stuff I needed so I could cook for him, and for me to eat while I’m there, cleaning and fixing stuff for him. FML
Today, my grown up, unemployed boyfriend stole 70 dollars from my wallet and tried to hide it in two different places in case he needed to ditch me and go out by himself. He got angry when I confronted him and stormed out. He feels perfectly entitled. I work, pay rent and buy food. FML
Leech
Today, I asked my husband to be a little more responsible, pick up after himself, and spend a little less. I earn more than he does, so it's usually my money that he splurges. He has gone on a non-stop tantrum for the past 5 hours, giving me the cold shoulder, and shouting at me. What have I gotten myself into? FML
Money money money
Today, my boyfriend's dad said he'd given my boyfriend £100 to take me out for a meal last night and he hoped I'd enjoyed it. Last night my boyfriend and I went to Pizza Hut, shared a pizza and split the bill. Turns out my boyfriend had simply pocketed the money without telling anyone. FML
Gold digger
Today, I asked my boyfriend to help me with groceries, since the last of my money went to last week's groceries. His response was to start a fight, then tell me it's my fault my daughter acts the way she does, which is when he finally got me to break down and cry. I'm pregnant with his kid, and I also pay 90% of our bills. FML
Today, my boyfriend came round to drop off some underwear, which I'd left at his house. Not all of what he brought was mine. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend wrote 50 dollars on my gift card just to look generous, it's really only worth five. I found this out after I tried to buy an arm full of clothes. FML
Mind control
Today, after my fiancee gave me $100 to spend at the garden center as my Mother's Day gift, when I was on my way home from the center, he called and yelled at me because I didn't get what he wanted me to get. FML
Today, I treated my boyfriend to an expensive dinner using the last of my paycheck. I had to excuse myself to the bathroom a few minutes in. I came back to find my plate empty. His excuse was, "I didn't want the food to get cold." FML
Today, I caught my boyfriend stealing money from my purse. He tried to turn it on me by claiming I'll owe him for the flowers he'll get me on Valentine's Day, then tried to make me feel guilty by saying the whole thing is for "selfish bitches anyway". FML

Tell him that the next time he wants something, he can do it himself with his own money.

Isn't this the plot of a spongebob episode? "Yer spending all me hard earned cash!"

Get rid of him as soon as possible. If he's like that now, he's going to get more abusive as he gets more comfortable.

Isn't this a bit much? Maybe he's a wonderful man, except for this. Maybe he's an asshole. We don't know. Some problems can be worked out.

Using money as an abuse tactic is a thing (withholding money/stealing/threatening to take their money etc) however we have nowhere near enough information to know if this is a regular thing or he was just being a bit of a dick that one time. Just dumping a relationship without even discussing it and finding out why he acted the way he did sounds really extreme.

Or maybe he was hangry. I can be sunshine and rainbows all day at work.. And then the tram is stuck in traffic, crammed with stinky people, and I forgot to bring a snack - steer clear until I've reached the kitchen.

Every time a comment says, "that's an abuser" there's always a horde of flying monkeys chittering "so extreme! you don't know him!" etc. Come on people, do you really not get how this works? Of COURSE we don't know him. But IF this person is being abused she may need others to point it out because abusers will **** with their victim's mind. If he's just a good guy having a bad day, she's probably capable of figuring that out on her own -- no harm done.

Return the stuff he asked you to pick up for him & give him back the money to solve the money problem of you spending all his money, then tell him to go buy it himself.

#16 note that she said she used $50 of her money AFTER not having much money left, & that he grumbled about spending all of HIS money.

Ungrateful much?

What kind or how many were the "few things' he asked for, if you had to put in 50 bucks from your account? Show him the receipt and be cautious next time he asks for a favour involving money.

I would definitely tell him, next time get your own stuff..

If he wanted to know what money was being spent, perhaps even he could have done it himself just to be sure

He must have forgotten what you mean to him or else he wouldn't of said that.

That was your fault.
