Today, my 9 year old nephew found his way onto my iTunes. I now have 401 songs titled "aidfj3P" by "ffjiel". FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Wizard skills
Today, I was looking after my 9 year-old nephew when I let him play some web games on my MacBook. A few hours later, I found out I'd underestimated his tech skills, as he'd changed all my contacts to "Mr. Spongebob Squarepants." Thanks to iCloud, all contacts on all my devices were changed. FML
Baby Shark goes on the road
Today, I tried to create the perfect playlist for a road trip. I spent a long while curating it, but when I hit the shuffle button, it started playing a bunch of annoying nursery rhymes. Apparently, I'd accidentally merged my list with my nephew's. FML
Today, I let my friend use my computer to download some music. Now, my computer has 6 viruses and 4 songs, all of which I hate. FML
Today, I found out that whenever I send my son to his room, he goes on his iPod and buys the most expensive apps he can find. So far I've been charged $600. FML
Now Playing
Today, my eleven-year-old cousin, who lives with me, has discovered Old Town Road. He’s been playing it for four hours on repeat and I’m ready to scream. FML
Today, my cousin came over. I left my iPod on shuffle in the room we were in as I left to go to the bathroom. When I came back she was jamming out to "My Dick" by Mickey Avalon. She won't stop singing it and her mom is coming over to pick her up in an hour. She's 4. FML
Today, I found out that my eight year old son is actually my nephew. FML
Today, I found my son's iPod touch and was looking at a light-saber app. He walked into the living room to see me fighting the cat and making sound effects to myself. FML
Make it stop!
Today, I accidentally left some music playing on my iPad, then left to do some errands. When I came back, I found it smashed into a million pieces. Apparently, grandpa couldn't find any other way to "shut off that goddamn music." FML
Today, I got a new computer because my old one crashed, deleting all music, photos, and documents. I still had all my music on my iPod though, and went to sync it to the new computer. By accident, my younger brother pulled the cord out before it was done, deleting all 3,000 songs forever. FML

9 year olds are brilliant these days.

At least it was only iTunes and he didn't get onto the internet and see things he shouldn't have. I'm all for not being a helicopter parent (uncle/aunt) but on the computer, a 9-year-old really needs supervision.

This was so fake. A 9 year old wouldn't know how to change the names of songs and that on there. And if he did, he'd be smart enough to know what to do and be able to put full words.

Or he was just being a jackass and did it on purpose.

At 9, I was smart enough to change song names. Kids are really quick with computers.

Yes, children are raised around technology. Besides, working iTunes is not rocket science, I'm sure my 5-year-old nephew could do it.

When I was 9, I was my family's tech support. And I was up until I moved out. Renaming songs on iTunes is not hard at all though. And doesn't it have the ability to look up song names online? All you need to do is set the album names back to normal (if your library is mostly albums rather than random songs) and it'll find the rest.

Are you kidding? I am 17 now, but when I was 6 I made my own email by myself with an email provider my parents didn't use When I was 7 I programmed and soldered and microchip that was a motion and voice activated "cricket". By the time I was 9 I could install my own software, surf the internet, go on MSN and many other things. I bet my six year old nephews are computer savvy enough to change the names on iTunes because I know for a fact that my 8 year old niece can as she puts Jonas Brothers songs on her father's iPod.

If you want the song names back, just listen to them and google the lyrics. Song title should come right up. But still, I would HATE this to happen to me, FYL :D
