Today, I've gotten so used to people mispronouncing my last name, even after I correct them a gazillion times, I've lost the motivation to correct anyone on it anymore. At this point I'd probably faint from shock if someone who isn't related to me successfully pronounced it correctly. FML

Today, after 26 years of confusion with my parents pronouncing it different ways, and in my mom's case, multiple ways, having to clear up how it's spelled every time I meet someone, I asked my mom how to pronounce my name. She got mad and then pronounced it three different ways while explaining. FML

Well I got Jai Oni as a first name briõñ for a middle unique names are cool cause we stand out but pronouncing them is a bitch on a daily basis. I've heard so many variations of my name I got used to it so don't feel so bad. we could have some name like ****** or some commonly used name or word. I like sticking out.
