Today, after finishing work and collecting my bag from my locker, I yawned as my manager came to ask me a question. She yelled at me for yawning. She then told others that I have a chronic yawning problem at work and need medical intervention. I can't even yawn once after a long tiring day on my own time. FML

Today, I was really, REALLY tired at work. I went to the restroom to take a little break, and must have dozed off, because I was awoken by my boss, knocking on the door of the stall. Apparently, I had been snoring. FML

Tell your boss that yawning is the brain's way of thermoregulation and is not something that can be controlled. New studies have shown that oxygen also has nothing to do with yawning despite previous beliefs. Basically your brain is cooling itself down when you yawn. Just like your computer has its own cooling mechanism to keep it from overheating, your body’s computer, the brain, uses yawning to regulate its temperature. Boom! Science!

I get chronic yawning as a "migraine". Also aura vision or intense headaches, and it seems to be always one of the 3. I work at a call center and frequently have to mute my phone just to yawn.
