Today, I was stripped of my starting position on my high school basketball team. The reason? I was three minutes late to practice. Why was I late? My coach called me five minutes before practice and made me get him a coffee or else he wouldn't start me. FML

#49 I don't appreciate that comment. I play girls high school basketball and it's the same game the guys play you jackass. it's ignorant dicks like you who make this a bad world so why don't you get off your fat ass and try to beat women in WNBA and see how that works out for you!

I don't believe stories like this.

Well, you should because this pattern is not as far-fetched as you'd think. When a superior (boss, coach, etc.) wants to get rid of you, he or she normally can't do it without cause since that opens them up to lawsuits and the image of being arbitrary. Instead they can set you up for failure like tricking you into breaking a rule (like being late) or putting you on a dead-end boring project that you will hate, so they can have a "reason" for getting rid of you.

******* jocks. morons all.

Yeah! Every single one of them! Let me list the dumbest jocks of all time: - Ross Ohlendorf, MLB pitcher - 1520 on SAT, 3.8 GPA in operations research and financial engineering from Princeton University - Craig Breslow, MLB pitcher - 1520 on SAT, 34 on MCAT, 3.5 GPA double-majoring in molecular biophysics and biochemistry at Yale University, accepted to NYU's medical school - Ryan Fitzpatrick, NFL quarterback - 1580 on SAT, degree in economics from Harvard University Should I go on?

he just wanted an excuse to bench you

This FML needs some editing. "Today, I was stripped by my coach five minutes before practice. He made me suck him off or he wouldn't start me. FML"

tell your coach the following: Those who can do. Those who can't teach. Those who can't teach, coach.
