Today, I was prescribed anti-anxiety medication due to the high level of stress that I experience at my job. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the medication because I do not make enough money at said job. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Get me out
Today, I realized that I needed a new job when I had to take anti-anxiety medication before meeting with my boss. Last time we met, I had a panic attack. FML
Free healthcare for all
Today, it's gotten to the point where I can't afford my ADD medication anymore. Now, I'm literally too poor to pay attention. FML
Today, I had a anxiety attack about taking my anxiety medicine. FML
Today, after having to move home with my parents because I'm broke and can't seem to find a job, my mom found out I'm on anti-depressants. She and my dad will no longer be helping with money because she doesn't like "drugs". FML
Today, my credit card got declined while I was buying anti-depressants. FML
I know an old lady…
Today, I was prescribed medication to treat the headaches, caused by the medication to treat the lethargy, caused by the medication to treat my crippling nerve pain, without which I'd be stuck in a wheelchair. FML
Medicare for all, now
Today, I was cut off from my government-funded drug program that used to pay half of my medication costs. They said I don't pay enough of a percentage of my wages on medication. I'd be on a higher dosage if I could afford it. I'm still poor and I'm definitely still bipolar. FML
Tough choice
Today, I was prescribed medicine for anxiety. Without it, my stomach churns all day. With it, I shake uncontrollably and my eyes twitch. Now I have to choose between diarrhea and rude stares from people in public. FML
Denied!
Today, I got rejected from participating in a depression study that provides free medication, for not already being on antidepressants. That's because I can't afford health insurance or medication, which is why I applied to the study. FML
Freaked out
Today, I had to admit that I desperately need anti-anxiety medication. Apparently, when you walk around a grocery store avoiding eye contact and generally acting "sketchy", management will call the police on you, who will then pat you down to be sure you aren't shoplifting. FML

and getting to be healthy shouldn't be a reward for working hard. it should be a basic human right. so if you're well-off, you live? and here's what you're missing... people who don't have health insurance, don't go to the doctor for minor things. they wait it out, then when they're near death, they go to the ER, rack up hundreds of thousands in medical bills, and can't pay. who pays that bill? tax payers do!

You see I think otherwise. My Grandmother has gone through three treatments of different cancers, my Grandfather has had to have heart bypass surgery, My other grandma a hip replacement, and my other Grandfather treatment for a potentially fatal heart disease. If it weren't for the NHS that would never have been possible for them seeing as none of them are well off, and so I am eternally grateful to the NHS. And yes, there is the argument that you shouldn't have to pay for somebody else etc etc but in the grand scheme of things I can't help but feel that that is selfish. I have no objection to paying a tax for healthcare that I don't use too frequently when I know that as a result, we have a system in which EVERYBODY can get the help they need. That is just my way of looking at it, and I respect your opinion.

195, I appreciate your respect for others opinions, I disagree with you but I respect you for not trying to arouse conflict, unlike 190, who clearly has no respect for others beliefs.

Call your doctor back....ask him to prescribe you something from the walmart med list... same deal with my company regarding prescriptions... so anytime I have go get any kind of meds....I always ask for it to be from $4 walmart med list. My doctor understands.. I am sure yours will too! Regarding your job.., start looking for another job...,but dont quit til you find a new job. Jobs are hard to come by these days. best wishes
