Today, I was looking for a parking spot and finally found one. Trying to figure out if the spot was legal, I asked a cop that had pulled up. He said it was fine. I came back 3 hours later to a parking ticket. FML

Today, I found a great parking spot but I wasn't sure if it was restricted by any means or of I could just park there for free. I asked a police officer walking by and he told me it was alright, only to come back 4 hours later to find a ticket on my windshield. FML
Today, I got a parking ticket for parking in my neighbors' parking spot. I parked there because my neighbors were parked in my parking spot. FML
Today, I parked my car, went to pay for my spot, and returned to my car only to find a parking violation ticket tucked under the windshield wipers. This all happened in less than a minute. FML

Today, I got a ticket for parking "illegally." I was waiting for my handicapped dad at the airport and had all the required documents to park as I did while waiting for him. The cop didn't care, and now I have to go through bureaucracy hell to get it cancelled. FML

had that same thing happen to me. two cops on two separate occasions told me it was ok to park there, even the sign said that you get a fine only if you park north of the sign. I was south of it. I came out of the building as the cop was writing me a ticket. I asked him why he was doing that if he had told me it was ok and the sign backed me up too and he said "its life". after that he called me baby and started to treat me like an idiot because I have a foreign accent. Needless to say I reported his ass, turns out more people had the same problem with him

not enough info. what was the ticket for? maybe it was legal but you had to pay at a pay station, which you didn't do. maybe it had a 2-hour limit. they can only give you a ticket if you ignored a clearly marked sign, so i think i'm gonna go with YDI for not figuring it out yourself.

Was this at UD by chance? Mayhaps by the athletic center? Riiight in front of the stop sign by the busted curb and sharp turn? Cause if it is... the same thing happened last year. I feel for you. I promise i do. You do not, in fact, deserve this one.
