Today, I was informed by my boss that he has been stealing quarters out of my change bowl to pay for his bus rides. He makes six times the amount I make. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Unionize!
Today, my boss told me he was going to start taking money out of my pay, because his wife makes us lunch. I work for my dad, and he wants to start charging me because my mom makes me a sandwich. FML
Sounds illegal
Today, I got a lot of tips at work, but little did I know our boss takes it out of our paychecks. FML
Today, my boss bragged to a coworker, in front of me, about how much money he saved on a project because he majorly underpays me. My boss is my dad. FML
What?
Today, my coworker got a raise by making our boss give me a pay cut for doing his job while he was slacking off. As we were heading home for the day, he found $100. FML
Today, while working at a chain restaurant, I forgot to charge someone a few dollars for extra toppings on the side. My stingy boss took the time to take that money out of my paycheck. FML
Busted
Today, my boss accused me of submitting fraudulent overtime claims. I proceeded to show him security footage of me at my desk for sometimes 18 hours a day, keeping the business from imploding. He then claimed he doesn’t actually have enough money in the accounts to pay me everything I’m owed. FML
Et tu, Brute?
Today, my boss, a treacherous weasel, threw me under the bus for a £300 mistake I made on my first day a year ago as an intern, trying to distract from his £12,000 fuck up from today. He got suspended, but my wages are temporarily reduced until the money from my mistake is paid back, all £300 of it. FML
The customer is always right
Today, my boss is beginning to hate me. Why? Because people keep coming to my register with one or two dollars worth of stuff, then paying for it with hundred dollar bills, ignoring the sign saying not to do that. I’ve had to ask him to refill my till after every transaction. FML
Today, my boss told me he is a superhero. He has written countless comics about his crusades and adventures. I make fifty dollars an hour less than him. FML
Today, I drove a total of 4 hours for my boss to demote me, downgrade my pay, and make the kid I hired my new boss. Why? Because I asked about the $500 missing from my paycheck. FML

That's why he's the BAWS. But, no really, your boss takes the bus, and he makes 6 times what you make? Are you a volunteer? Do you work for a hobo?

What i don't get is that if OP's boss makes 6X more than him then why would he need to take the bus?

i don't understand. He is your boss...so maybe he is allowed to steal change? Probably not. I don't understand what he is stealing from, the tip jar or your cash register?

Here's my question: why do you have a change bowl containing a ridiculous amount of money in quarters? If he's taking bus fare every day (about $1.50), and you never noticed, you clearly have way too much money in your change bowl. I'm not excusing what he did, I'm just saying. Most people have like $5 max in spare change. I don't understand why you feel the need to keep so much spare change handy at work. In case one day you get reallllllly hungry and want to drop $40 on twinkies in the vending machine?

Complain to his superiors or, if he's the owner, sue him.

Why would you have a change bowl on your desk? You can't trust coworkers (and apparently your boss) not to have sticky fingers.
