Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I got into a minor argument with my fiancé. Deciding it wasn't worth fighting over, I shrugged and said, "Really, what are we even doing this for?" To which he replied, "Honestly, I don't know. I haven't loved you in years… Oh, you meant about the fight." And just like that, I'm now single. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me that he becomes a boring version of himself whenever we are together. FML
Today, I tried to tell my boyfriend how I have been feeling recently in our relationship. He lashed out at me, saying I was just accusing him of being the bad guy. I guess I'll never express my feelings ever again. FML
Today, I made my relationship with my boyfriend official. The guy who I liked, who'd ultimately friendzoned me, leaving me to find someone who would reciprocate my feelings, got irrationally angry at me. Didn’t he tell me just six months ago that we were “just friends”? Yeah, I'm confused too. FML
Today, I got in a fight with my boyfriend. I sent him a long message pouring my heart out about how hurt I am that he constantly ignores me or responds to almost everything I say in monosyllables. He texted back "ok". FML
Today, I found out my long-distance boyfriend was trying to pick fights with me and start pointless arguments because he wanted a ticket out of the relationship. He wanted to find a reason to break up with me, rather than confess he has a local girlfriend. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me after 2 years of being together. The reason? I don't enjoy playing video games as much as he does. FML
Today, I realized my boyfriend never argues with me when I'm right, but goes to great lengths when I'm not. As a result, in the five years we've been together, he has won every single argument we ever had. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 4 years, who I love with every fiber in my body, just told me that he's not attracted to me. Not in any way, shape, or form. FML
Today, my boyfriend decided he's asexual and dumped me on the spot. FML

Well shame on you both for being able to work through your issues and being civil with each other. (I’m making some assumptions here, some people don’t discuss any issues they have.) Real life isn’t a vicious (passionate) social media disagreement

This would really need a more in-depth explanation of your relationship which no one has time for. Assuming the lack of fighting is due to having a happy, content & fulfilled relationship, making the summation no fighting = no passion (or that the bond is somehow lesser due to lack of confrontation) is quite absurd. It’s absurd because his logic then would be to put the suggested “solution” of fighting into place. (Personally I think he wanted out and used this facade as an excuse) Now if he’s suggesting the lack of fighting is due to tip toeing around feelings or avoiding confrontation as to not deal with shared problems or to save face, then maybe he’s right about there being more work on communication skills needed and about openly declaring how you feel about problems. Pretty simple
